This might not be your first choice of activity, but you should definitely dedicate a couple of hours and visit Yad Vashem if you are in Israel.
Yad Vashem is the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. The center includes the Holocaust History Museum, the Museum of Holocaust Art, various exhibitions, the Children’s Memorial, the Hall of Remembrance, and more. The center is located in Jerusalem, on the western slope of Mount Herzl, also known as the Mount of Remembrance, and offers beautiful views of Jerusalem.
The entrance is free. You will have to pay a small daily parking fee if you arrive by car. Disabled parking and elevators are available on site. The outside grounds of the center are paved with Jerusalem stone, so a bit rocky. The site is mostly wheelchair accessible, including the cafeteria, the cloakroom room, and the restrooms.
