Parking – Several accessible parking spaces are available throughout the resort village – next to the main building, the restaurant, the pool, and the breakfast area.
Room – The accessible room we stayed in was on the second floor, accessed by a ramp and an elevator. It was beautifully designed in rustic style, spacious, and accessible. The heated floor made it cozy and warm. The room can accommodate two adults and three kids and has a double sofa bed, a single sofa bed, and a double bed. The bed isn’t raised; impossible to use a hoist if you need one.
The bathroom – The bathroom, although spacious, had a few issues.
- The shower was step-free, with grab bars but no shower chair. The hotel could provide a regular plastic chair, but it isn’t safe for independent transferrers.
- The sink, although roll-under, was very low, which made it impossible for an adult to fit under it.
- The mirror is high above the sink. The mirror in the room was also very, for some reason.
- No emergency cords.
- There were grab bars in the shower, the bath, and next to the toilet.
Public areas – The paths throughout the hotel are smooth and easy to navigate.
Pool – A heated pool equipped with a pool lift is available for guests.
Breakfast – a rich breakfast spread, spacious breakfast area, great!
Restaurant – Habokrim Restaurant situated next to the hotel reception is a great, accessible dinner option (if you eat meat).
To summarize – A good budget hotel, very conveniently located for visiting Golan Heights and Mount Hermon.
