These rental apartments are a good, much cheaper alternative for Eilat Hotels. Although not accessible by definition, we managed perfectly with our own shower/commode chair. The location isn’t ideal if you don’t have a car; about a 10-minute walk from the beach/boardwalk area, which can be tiring in the heat of Eilat.
Parking – accessible parking is available on the street in front of the building and the back. The path to the entrance is step-free. The building, elevator, and apartment doors are all wide and accessible.
The apartment – we stayed in a studio apartment on the 2nd floor. The apartment consists of one big room with a double bed, a kitchenette, a small seating area, a bathroom, and a small balcony. Modern, spacious and very clean, and well-maintained. The bathroom door is narrow, 60cm. The shower booth is big and step-free without grab-bars or shower chair. No grab bars are beside the toilet, and the sink isn’t roll-under. The kitchenette is well equipped, with a coffee maker and dishes if you wish to cook yourself.
