Shofi is a 2-unit B&B right outside Majdal Shams Village and only a 10 minutes drive to Mount Hermon. Although this B&B is not wheelchair-accessible by definition, it’s doable depending on your specific needs. The B&B offers beautiful views of the Golan Heights and a delicious Druze breakfast upon request.
Parking – Private parking is available right next to the B&B entrance; the access from the parking to the B&B is step-free.
Room – The room is nice, very clean, and well-maintained. Although small, it’s spacious enough to navigate in a wheelchair. Inside, a double bed (not raised, impossible to use a hoist) and a sofa bed.
Bathroom – The bathroom door is narrow, 60cm. The shower is step-free, with a shower bench but no grab bars. No grab bars next to the toilet as well. I brought my-own shower chair, which was small enough to fit through the bathroom door, in the shower, and over the toilet.
