Beautifully designed, modern holiday apartments in Yaara, Israel. The apartments are not wheelchair-accessible, but step-free. We brought a small shower chair with us and had no accessibility issues.
Parking – a lot of parking spaces next to the gate. Some packed gravel to reach the gate, then a smooth, step-free path to the apartment.
Room – Very spacious room with a sofa bed, a double bed (raised, which allows the use of a hoist if needed), a dining area, and a coffee machine.
Bathroom – The door is narrow, 60cm. Inside is a step-free shower booth without a shower chair, no hand grabs in the shower or beside the toilet, and no roll-under sink. As mentioned above, I brought a small shower chair with me.
Public areas – A nice, accessible outside patio and lawn. The pool isn’t accessible; several steps to get there and no pool lift.
