If you want to escape the city and take a short break from the crowds and the noise, Jerusalem Botanical Garden is the perfect place. Whether you are a botanist, an amateur gardener, or just a nature lover, you will enjoy the vibrant colors, the tropical greenhouse, the hidden green corners, and the beautiful views of Jerusalem.
The best season to visit the garden is the spring, March, and early April in Israel.
The garden is wheelchair accessible, but you might require assistance on some of the steep paths. You will get a discount on the entrance fee, and the caregiver can enter for free. Accessible restrooms are not great but manageable. If you decide to visit during the summer months, bring sun protection and a lot of water! The restaurant located at the garden entrance is also wheelchair accessible, both indoors and outdoors areas. It has an accessible restroom, but it’s a bit small.
