The Reserve preserves swampland and waterway sources, most of which have been lost in Israel. Located in the Northern part of the country, next to Kiryat Biyalik, it’s a beautiful site for a short scenic stroll or a picnic in nature. You’ll find detailed information about the reserve and its history here.
If you have a disability certificate equivalent to an Israeli “exemption from paying for a companion,” your companion/caregiver doesn’t need a ticket.
There are several accessible parking spaces, an accessible restroom, and a picnic area.
The accessible route (marked with signs) starts where the regular one ends and reaches until the swamp pathway ( a floating pathway over water). Wheelchair users aren’t allowed on the pathway; no railings and other visitors who are walking in the opposite direction on the narrow pathway make it too dangerous. All the paths and bridges are smooth and easy to roll on in a wheelchair.
