Very special, beautifully designed suites in the heart of Old Acre. The design, while preserving the impressive Crusader and Ottoman arches and stonework, offers a modern and luxurious stay.
Parking – the closest accessible parking is in Arce Port, about 5 mins walk to the hotel. The path from the parking lot is step-free but with some uneven cobblestones here and there. If you have a disabled parking badge, it’s free. It’s also possible to find closer parking inside the Old Town alleys, but you could be blocked by other cars.
One of the ground-floor suites has step-free access and is spacious and easy to use in a wheelchair. The owner was very accommodating, listened to our specific needs, and arranged the suite furniture to allow easy access. The room has two single beds, a kitchen, a dining table, a beautiful seating area, and a small patio outside. The beds aren’t raised, and it is impossible to use a hoist.
The bathroom has a wide door, a step-free shower, and a roll-under sink. There are no grab bars in the shower or next to the toilet and no shower chair (but the owner told us we could use one of the patio chairs).
